I have been unable to get the DCE connections up for router 5 in pod #3. I have configured the DCE on int s 0 - 3 with a clock rate of 64000 just as I did for the s1 interfaces on the other routers, but no joy. Any suggestions? I did fine configuring the DCE on routers 2 & 4 fine. To clarify, the interface comes up, but the protocol stays down.

| I hadn't noticed that the serial interfaces for R5 were set to frame-relay. I changed the encapsulation to hdlc and the links came up. |
