Are the clockrates set, is the frame-relay intf-type dce on the serials... |

Koen - R6 on pod4
Yea the clock rates are set on that router by default what i'll do next session is lower the clock rate when i torubleshoot because the line keeps going up and down |

try setting the frame-relay lmi type
frame-relay lmi-type ansi
and do this on the switch and your routers
could be a cabling issue... |

to be honest i did think that
however im not techinical enough to know for sure and thought it more likley i havent been doing something right
i set the same config up a few days previous and got all the routers except R2 on pod 4 working via frame relay so this is why i've had a bit of headache trying to troubleshoot this.
Oh well i guess its good for the learning process but if there is hardware fault theres not a lot i can do really except report it. But i havent seen anyone else flag this so maybe it is me. |

ok
i have set the lmi type to ansi on routers and R6 (switch) line protocol went up and then came down.
I think i'll try and get this checked out. i'm pretty sure im doing this right i've got frame relay to work before. |
