I just configured frame-relay on Pod #2 for ten routers. I cut and paste the configs in to save time and slammed through them. However, I made a configuration error and had to redo the configs across all the routers. What I should have done is test the config on two, make sure it worked and then copied the rest.
The more practice I get the more I realize doing the configurations incrementally and by the numbers is actually faster than blowing through the configs and making mistakes you have to go back, find and fix. |

This theory applies in real life too I find.
When I have to configure multiple routers with a template config, it's best to make sure at least one works in a lab before shipping them all out to the client. |
