I just configured frame-relay on Pod #2 for ten routers. I cut and paste the configs in to save time and slammed through them. However, I made a configuration error and had to redo the configs across all the routers. What I should have done is test the config on two, make sure it worked and then copied the rest.

The more practice I get the more I realize doing the configurations incrementally and by the numbers is actually faster than blowing through the configs and making mistakes you have to go back, find and fix.

This theory applies in real life too I find.

When I have to configure multiple routers with a template config, it's best to make sure at least one works in a lab before shipping them all out to the client.
