|
|
Hi all
A previous user has left the R7 in a muxed up state and the enable secret password isn't cisco.
Tried Password recovery as per normal, using "Ctrl B" "Shift Ctrl B" "Ctrl Break" "Shift Ctrl Break". I've been using the Putty Telnet so I also tried the break from its menu, still no joy. I have also reverted back to Mico$oft Telnet just on case it was Putty, with the same results.....
Any idea's welcome..... I was hopeing to do some FR study |

For some reason, the CTRL-B Break feature of the terminal doesn't work sometimes. I'm currently working on rewriting the terminal program so that this is no longer an issue. My new terminal program will also log sessions and attempt to guess at passwords during reset.
I am currently breaking in manually - I'm sorry about the inconvenience! |

As it happens the next user seems to have not tuned up, so I've taken this slot as well, so I'll get my study done
I must admit I thought I'd I was missing something.
Thanks fo rsorting it all out. |
