If you mistype you can lose router time waiting to get the prompt back.
R9#cisco
Translating "cisco"...domain server (255.255.255.255)
You can enter this command to disable it.
R9(config)#no ip domain-lookup
R9(config)#cisco
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
If you mistype you get the prompt back right away. |
